Grenades
Soldiers used grenades, there were one of the best weapons in World War I, because it allowed soldiers to have a huge amount of firepower in a little package, approximately the size of a baseball. It was very effective, by the fact that a single grenade could stop large groups, it was also very accurate for clearing the enemy's trenches.
There were two types of how a grenade could detonate.
The first one was that the grenade would detonate when it impacts something, and the second one the grenade would detonate in a lapse of time. Soldiers preferred that the grenade would detonate in a lapse of time, because it was much more safer for them.
There were mainly two grenade models.
