Flamethrowers
Flamethrowers were first used by the German army. But as World War I progressed the flamethrower was adopted by both French and British armies. As its name says, a flamethrower throws fire by launching burning fuel.

- The smaller, was designed mainly as a portable weapon that a single man could carry. And the fire could reach about 18 meters. This model was known as the Kleinflammenwerfer.
- The larger, a single man was not able to transport it. And the fire could reach twice the distance that the small model could reach. This model was known as the Grossflammenwerfer.
