Tanks
Tanks were mainly used to break down enemy barriers, barb wire of the enemies' trenches, so that soldiers could attack. But even all the positive aspects tanks had, it had very little impact in World War I. Tanks had problems such as:
For World War II the tanks became much more efficient and had a big impact on it.
- They were too slow. A man could easily go faster that the tank.
- Just a few could travel a couple of miles before breaking up.
- The tanks were made of really thin armor, a heavy artillery, a rifle or anything better that .40 caliber could harm it.
- Tanks could not cross trenches. If the trench had a ditch more that 5 feet or about 1.5 meter, the tank could not cross over it.
- The production of tanks were very low, because it involved a huge amout of money and time to produce a tank.
